In this section, you can manage the settings of the Analytics Tool.
You can access this section from the left menu Analytics >> Settings.
In this field, you can update the lead restock time of all your products in a single operation.
This operation will overwrite previously inserted settings on individual products.
To do this, simply enter the number of days in the input field and click the “update” button.
If you want to indicate different restock leas times for individual products, see the section inventory details.
For ZonWizard to provide suggestions on product reorder quantities, it is necessary to properly set the coefficients for calculating optimal stock. These coefficients are:
Fixed cost of processing a restock order
Annual storage cost per cubic meter of your FBM warehouse
Maximum duration in days you want to keep in stock
Let's assume a product has a sales velocity of 11 units per day, which means the annual sales volume will be approximately 4000 units. This quantity of products can be ordered in batches, and the smaller the batch, the greater the number of batches that need to be ordered during the year. For example, you can order 2 batches of 2000 pieces or 20 batches of 200 pieces. Each reorder has fixed costs (independent of batch size) that can be identified by considering the work required to:
order the merchandise from the supplier
manage invoicing
manage shipping and loading quantities into your warehouse and on Seller Central
To input the cost of managing a reorder, you can consider the man-hours needed to perform these operations.
The other factor that influences the optimal batch is the storage cost in the warehouse.
For small-volume products, the storage cost is smaller, while for larger products, the cost is higher. So, in order to determine the optimal batch quantity, it is necessary to know the cost of storing a certain volume of products in the warehouse.
If you exclusively use Amazon's logistics, this information can be automatically detected by ZonWizard, while if you use your own warehouse, you need to indicate the warehouse occupancy cost per cubic meter.
Sometimes, for very small products with very low storage costs, the optimal batch calculation can result in very large quantities. However, it is usually preferable not to order stocks that will last for too many months, as it is never certain whether the market and sales volume will remain constant. For this reason, you can set a maximum inventory duration in days. For example, by indicating 90 days, ZonWizard will suggest order quantities that do not exceed 3 months worth of stock.
The reorder date takes into account the remaining stock days plus the days needed to procure the product.
In this input field, you can indicate how many days before the reorder date you want to receive the alert notification.
If you want to receive inventory order notifications via email as well, see the section “notification preferences”.
By enabling this option, you will receive low inventory notifications only for FBA logistics products.
